The emphasis is on building core strength, increasing flexibility and maintaining an excellent range of motion in your joints.The intensity of our one-to-one sessions is adjusted to suit each individual but we will always challenge you enough to guarantee consistent progress. In our on–site fitness suite we will teach you to use simple types of equipment that you can easily use at home such as kettle bells, resistance bands, exercise balls, foam rollers and more.
We focus on simple exercises which use multiple joints and muscle groups simultaneously, with a focus on preparing your body for the specific demands of your personal day to day life. For example if you are the parent of small children and have a desk-bound job, we can develop exercises designed to prepare you for and help you recover from those specific demands. We find that these corrective and preventative exercise sessions are most effective in conjunction with occasional massage therapy treatments.
We will listen closely to your individual circumstances and try to understand better what makes you tick. Our focus will be on developing your understanding of exercise in general and on giving you the skills to be effective in your efforts. We will help you identify the underlying issues which may have historically prevented you from being successful. You will receive expert mind-set coaching and the dedicated mentoring required to feel empowered and confident enough to exercise independently.
